So Kelantan are once again in the final of Malaysia Cup and they face a repeat of last year final against Negeri Sembilan. Kelantan who drew 0-0 in Alor Setar on Wednesday, were playing infront of 25,000 full house crowd at Stadium Sultan Mohd IV.
Kelantan started the match very strongly, with Nor Shahrul Idlan Talaha hiting the post as early as in the second minute of the game. All the players, no matter Kelantan or Kedah's player were trying very hard to make sure they progress to the final on the 30th October at Bukit Jalil.
The first 20 minutes were totally controlled by Kelantan. And during that period, they had almost 10 chances, but none of it were converted into goals.
The goal of the game finally arrived in 80th minute, when Nor Shahrul's corner kick, right aways entered the goal. Very beautiful goal. After the goal, Kelantan tried to slow down the tempo and try to waste a bit of time, because any sudden attack from Kedah which might result in them scoring and progress through away goal rule.
When the final wristle was blown, thats was the only time when the Kelantan fans are finally relieved. Congrates to Kelantan. And also Kedah for playing such a good game. Better luck next time. All of all the real winner is Malaysian Football because the match tonight show, people are still crazy about Malaysian Football, and the quality of the game is as high as EPL.
Anyway, Kelantan can't be fully happy yet, because the final opsticle is still there...Negeri Sembilan on the 30th October. About 50,000-60,000 Kelantan fans are expected to be cheerring for the team in Bukit Jalil...I am expecting a full capacity crowd of 90,000 to be in Bukit Jalil this coming saturday.
